- Please fully charge the Power Bank with the included wall adapter before using to insure a maximum battery life. Plug the wall adaptor cable into the bottom of the box. A green "Charge" light will illuminate to let you know the box is charging. The green light will turn off automatically when the charging is complete.
- Next, plug the cable found on the inside of the bag, in one of the pockets, into the bottom of the Power Bank. This cable is connected to your solar panel.
- The Power Bank will be in power saver mode until you connect either the provided USB or iPod cable in the OUT socket on top of the box. Please choose the correct output voltage for your device by switching the tab on the side of the box before plugging in your device.
- To test the level of power in your Power Bank, please switch the output voltage to 5.2v. Then press the "Battery Capacity Button" on the front of the box. If the red light shows, the battery box is almost empty and needs more charging. If the red light plus one green light shows, the box is 30% full; if the red light plus two green lights show, it is 65% full; and if the red light plus three green lights show, it is 100% full.
- The battery charge indicator will light when the solar panel is exposed to the sun and is charging your Power Bank.
- If the "Low Power" button illuminates after plugging in the USB or iPod cable, the box needs to be recharged before using.
Understanding Your Power Bank
Depending on how often you use your device, our bags will either be a full charging system or more of a boost for emergency power.
The battery box will keep its charge for a few days if not used. Please check the amount of power in the box by pressing the "Battery Capacity Button" before plugging in your device.
To get the best charge for the battery box, please expose the solar panel to as much direct sun as possible. This can be through a window in your car, home or work, or outside. Please do not leave the bag in a hot and secured car for more than two hours as the heat might damage the Power Bank.
The battery box will take about 6-8 hours of full sun to completely charge. The box will charge in overcast days, but it will take more time to completely fill the Power Bank.
If the battery box is fully charged, you can get one full charge or more of your device depending on its size.
